It was a tough opening day on course for Magenta golfer Dimi Papadatos in the Fiji International.
Playing alongside legendary local, Vijay Singh, Papadatos started well, holing a monster putt on the second for birdie.
“And oh, or straight in, that was going past the hole, you’re dead right, he knows it too, it would have been a tricky par putt coming back but don’t worry about it.”
But that used up a lot of his luck.. Papadatos went on to card six bogeys and a double, on his way to a round one score of six over.
He’ll need a big effort in round two just to make the cut.
