The Matildas have finished the tournament of nations undefeated, thanks to a 2-nil win over Japan.
Alanna Kennedy put the Australian’s in front early in the second half, before a goal in the 81st minute to Sam Kerr secured the result.
It wasn’t enough to claim the tournament though. The United States walked away with the trophy on goal difference after they beat Brazil 3 – 1 this morning.
