GOLD COAST GOLFER FALLS JUST SHORT AT FIJI INTERNATIONAL

Gold Coast golfer Anthony Quayle, has fallen agonisingly short of victory at the $1.5-million Fiji International.

Quayle shot a 63 today, including two eagles, to finish his round on top of the leaderboard.

But the overnight leader from India also eagled the 17th on his way to a one shot win.

Starting the day in second spot, the Hunter’s Andrew Dodt shot a final round 71 to grab a tie for sixth.
