FIRE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL AT POKOLBIN
A grass fire has been brought under control on Hermitage Road at Pokolbin.
Ten crews from NSW RFS and Fire & Rescue attended, as the blaze licked vines along the Casurina Vineyard, as well as two major power lines.
Fire investigators are on their way to the scene.
A total fire ban remains in place for the Hunter and Central Coast regions until midnight tonight, due to strong winds and dangerous conditions.
