WARNERS BAY TO MEET MEREWETHER IN WPL DECIDER

Warners Bay has qualified for its third WPL grand final in as many years, after an away goal count decided its two-leg semi-final against South Wallsend.
The second leg finished one nil to the Wolves, but the win was not enough to progress to next week’s decider.
A lack of genuine chances meant both teams struggled to break the deadlock at John Street Oval.
Southy scoring the game’s only goal, thanks to Alesha Clifford.
In the end it wasn’t enough for the Wolves.
Warners Bay will now play Merewether in next week’s decider.
The Llammas coming off a one all draw with New Lambton.
