Josh Frydenberg has been elected deputy leader.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Julie Bishop was eliminated in the first round of voting.
It comes after an extraordinary day in the nation’s capital yesterday, which saw senior ministers once-loyal to Malcolm Turnbull tender their resignations and throw support behind a leadership challenge.
A number of other MPs have tendered their resignations, including Greg Hunt, Steven Ciobo along with Alan Tudge and Michael Keenan.
Nationals MP Kevin Hogan, who represents the seat of Page on the New South Wales north coast, has threatened to move to the cross bench if another leadership spill goes ahead.
