The Inverell community is set to receive their new and improved police station sooner than originally thought.
It was first announced works would start on the $9-million project early next year, however construction has now been moved forward to December.
“We’ve fast-tracked it by about four months, planning work’s underway, there’ll be some consultations later this month with the local police in Inverell as well as the council.”
