More than a hundred people today attended a fundraising lunch in Port Macquarie, to support a new project called “Bush to Beach”.
Headed-up by Indigenous Marathon founder Charlie Maher – the initiative uses running to improve the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, by bringing kids from the red centre, to the beach.
Former Olympians Steve Moneghetti, Nova Peris and Rob De Castella spoke during the lunch – the group sharing stories and training tips.
