A crowd of Novocastrians gave a new meaning to spin class today as they climbed on bikes for a gruelling six hour workout.
350-people teamed up for the Variety Spin for Kids event at The Forum to raise money for the children’s charity.
Friends, corporates, even school groups dress up for the ride.
“We think we are over the $40-thousand mark, we haven’t counted it all yet but we think we are over $40-thousand which is an amazing effort from everyone here in the Hunter,” said Jason Bourke.
The funds will help provide practical equipment, care, and programs for children in need.
