Scouts from across the state are visiting the Hunter Valley, with the region hosting this year’s corroboree, at Lostock camping grounds.
The nearby Paterson River, proving popular with organisers, designing activities to test the children.
“We are in a very safe environment helping young people develop their personal resilience, that is the power of scouting,” said Neville Tomkins from Scouts Australia.
The camp finishes on Sunday.
