MAN BANNED FROM OWNING A DOG FOR LIFE
A pet owner has been banned from keeping a dog for life and his dog has been destroyed, after it attacked two alpacas in Upper Corindi, north of Coffs Harbour.
It’s understood the alpacas were attacked, chased into a dam and eventually drowned.
An American Staffordshire terrier and a Staffordshire terrier had previously been declared dangerous after an earlier attack on the same property.
The Staffordshire terrier was surrendered to council and has since been put down – its owner also fined $2400.
