With only weeks remaining till the start of the W-League season, the Newcastle Jets have confirmed the signing of another key player.
Katie Stengel rejoining the squad, after a strong season in the NWSL, scoring six goals in 23 matches for the Utah Royals.
The 26-year-old led the Jets attack last year, her 13 goals in 10 games helping the side to a spot in the semi-finals.
It will be the American attacker’s third season down-under.
