A woman has been taken to hospital, after being pulled from the water unconscious at a Lake Cathie beach.
The 23-year-old was with two friends when she got caught in a rip at Middle Rock Beach just after 1:30 today.
Emergency services and lifeguards were called to the scene to find the woman breathing but unresponsive.
She’s now in a stable condition at Port Macquarie Hospital.
