JUNIOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TUNCURRY THIS WEEKEND

Tuncurry hosted its first Junior State 7s Rugby Union Championships this weekend with 80 teams competing.

Players have come from all over New South Wales with 215 games played over the three days.

It’s the first time the Lower Mid North Coast have been involved, this year having nine teams in the running.

And for the under 17s, its a chance to be selected to compete against other states at a national level.

The championships continues tomorrow.
