Construction of the new $6-million Kempsey Cinema is expected to be finished sooner than expected.
Kempsey Shire Council has been told the complex should be finished by October next year.
Investment company, Gowings, says it’s working closely with businesses to combat a possible loss of foot-traffic during the construction phase.
The controversial cinema was given the green-light back in April.
