Ernie Merrick has reiterated his support for the VAR, but says how it’s used needs to change.
The Jets coach believes the Phoenix was robbed of a goal yesterday when Sarpreet Singh was called for handball, however, he says Wellington’s penalty was farcical.
Merrick wasn’t unhappy with Newcastle’s performance in the 2-1 loss, and managed to retain his cheeky sense of humour.
