A 38-year-old man remains on bail after allegedly throwing petrol towards a woman in Murwillumbah, causing second degree burns.
Jamie Browning fronted Lismore Local Court this morning charged with causing grevious bodily harm by the malicious use of corrosive fluid, affray and malicious damage by fire.
It’s alleged Mr. Browning threw a cup of petrol at 19-year-old Radhika Staples car, following an argument.
The petrol ignited and set the woman’s face and hands alight, causing second degree burns.
The case has been adjourned until February seven.
