A man is in a serious but stable condition after being hit by a car at Wingham last night.
Emergency services were called to Wingham Road just after 9pm to find a man had been struck by a vehicle.
The 30-year-old was treated at the scene before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
Police say the 74-year-old female driver drove a short distance before calling triple zero.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
