With more sweltering temperatures predicted for tomorrow around the region, the Rural Fire Service has declared a total fire ban.
A severe warning will be in place in areas around Tamworth and Gunnedah…
While towns in the North West, around Moree and Narrabri, are facing a ‘very high’ fire danger rating.
No fires can be lit and all permits will be suspended under the ban.
It will be in place as of midnight tonight.
