A woman has copped a hefty fine and had her license suspended, after being clocked going almost 80 kilometres-an-hour over the speed limit near Tamworth.
Police say at around 10:30 last night, they spotted the 20-year-old on The New England Highway, travelling 178 kilometres an hour in a one-hundred zone.
She will have to pay a $2-and-a-half-thousand-dollar fine, and won’t be allowed behind the wheel for 6 months.
