About 150 children today enjoyed a cricket fun day in Macksville.
Teams from six local schools took part in the activities, with organiser Cricket New South Wales visiting other areas on the coast over the next few days.
Development Manager Dave Szumowski said “There’s definitely more kids trying cricket than ever before – it’s just a matter of getting them into clubs and making sure they have fun.”
Tomorrow schools in Bellingen will take part, then Byron Bay.
