A passionate group of locals has hit the streets of Tamworth in a bid to drum up support for a 24/7 specialised drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit in the region.
“We’re travelling around and seeing how wide spread the issue is and how desperate the situation is and how desperate lives are being lost,” Narelle Langfield.
The aim is to attract 10,000 signatures before the state election.
