FARRER BOYS SHAVE THEIR LOCKS FOR LEUKAEMIA FOUNDATION

A number of year 12 students at Farrer Agricultural School will certainly need beanies this winter after taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave today.
The school has been raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation for more than 15 years.
“They see it as something that they need to do year on year so it’s become you know a really good fundraiser for us, we’ve probably raised 60 to 70 thousand over the years.”
This year the boys have broken a school record, raising $12,500 so far.
“A lot of people have said to us you know this is the year that we can do it and we were pretty keen on doing it, it’s a great feeling now that we’ve done it yeah, and the bald head’s just an extra.”
