Astra Aerolab – the defence and aerospace precinct Newcastle Airport is developing – is edging closer to becoming a reality.
Management has now bought a 76-hectare site for the project.
“We’re developing something that’s going to be world class, not just a normal development, but something that’s going to attract the best talent from around the world.”
It comes after the state government provided almost $12-million for early work, last year.
