Five Northern Tablelands councils will join forces aiming to share resources and deal with regional issues across council boundaries.
The group was one of 11 applicants to be part of a pilot project under a state government initiative and although it wasn’t selected, the councils have decided to proceed with the collaboration.
The organisation includes Inverell Shire, Glen Innes Severn, Guyra Shire and Armidale Dumaresq councils, along with the New England Weeds County Council.
