A man has been charged with trying to groom an 11 year-old boy in Glen Innes.
Police say he approached the child in a park on East Avenue around 1:30pm, where he then made a number of inappropriate comments.
The boy ran home and told his mum, who then contacted police.
The man’s also been charged with possession of cannabis.
He was given bail to appear in court this week.
