CCTV CAMERAS TO BE INSTALLED IN NARRABRI CBD

Going for a stroll in Narrabri will soon feel a bit safer, with CCTV cameras set to be installed in the main shopping precinct.

Narrabri Shire Council mayor Cathy Redding says while it’s already a safe area, shoppers and businesses will now have some extra peace of mind.

“Safety of our community and our retail stores is paramount. Narrrabri is quite a safe community, but we want to keep it that way.”

The $200-thousand project is expected to be finished by the middle of the year.
