The construction of a $3.5 million ambulance station in Wauchope is complete.
The new station – which is yet to be officially opened – was designed with input from local paramedics, and includes parking spaces for up to six emergency service vehicles.
“Still a couple more months of work to do to get the electronics and communications right but we have a modern purpose built building for the Hastings Valley” – Melinda Pavey, Member for Oxley.
The station will be in operation by the middle of the year.
