FUEL TANK REMOVAL TO BEGIN IN GUYRA NEXT WEEK

Work is set to start next week on the removal of underground fuel tanks in Guyra’s main street.

The tanks were discovered in August last year, when the $2.7-million revamp of Bradley Street was set to begin.

Armidale Regional Council will begin work next Monday to remove the tanks and commence street upgrades.

It’s expected the excavations will take at least four weeks.
