Police are investigating an early morning robbery at a Lake Macquarie service station.
Three men broke into the Valentine BP, stealing cash and cigarettes.
The trio young men forced their way inside the service station, on Macquarie Drive, just after 2am forcing their way through a locked glass door and threatened an attendant.
A getaway car was later found dumped in bushland at Tingira Heights, and will undergo forensic testing.
The men are only described as being aged in their late-teens or early twenties, and were wearing face coverings.
