The Newcastle Jets women’s side hasn’t given up hope of featuring in the W-League finals, after going close to a big upset against Brisbane.
Despite leading 1-nil for an hour and then clawing their way back to 2-all, the Jets eventually went down 3-2.
“I think the most important thing for us is to take that performance, back it up again, take it to Canberra and shake the hell out of it down there.”
The Jets will take on the defending champions knowing a win would put them back in touch with the top six.
