WYOMING WOMAN CHARGED WITH DEFRAUDING A CHARITY

A woman has been charged with defrauding not-for-profit organisation Autism Central Coast and a local business.

The 21-year-old was arrested at a home on Day Street, Wyoming, last night.

Detectives allege the fraud totalled more than $320,000.

The woman was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with two counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.

She was granted bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on March 21.
