FIVE INJURED IN CENTRAL COAST CAR ROLL OVER
Two teenagers were flown to hospital with serious injuries after a 4WD carrying five people hit a tree stump and rolled at Tumbi Umbi last night.
Three 19-year-old passengers in the back seat were all thrown from the Toyota Prado as it rolled on Hansens Road around 6:15pm.
One passenger suffered suspected spinal injuries and underwent surgery after being airlifted to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital.
Another passenger sustained suspected leg fractures and was airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
The two other young men, and the driver, were taken to to Gosford Hospital with serious injuries.
Tuggerah Lakes Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
