Gunnedah’s Deputy Mayor has been recognised for her contribution to the community at this year’s women in local government awards.
Gae Swain took out the regional council representative category at an awards ceremony in Sydney today.
The awards aim to highlight the important role women play in council operations.
They’re held in conjunction with International Woman’s Day celebrations.
