MOTHER MORE THAN FIVE TIMES OVER LEGAL ALCOHOL LIMIT AT SCHOOL PICK-UP
An alleged drunk mother has been charged, after attempting to collect her daughter from a Hunter primary school, while driving five times over the legal alcohol limit.
The 30-year-old drove to the Salamander Bay School, with her two-year-old son in the car, to pick-up her 6-year-old daughter on Monday afternoon.
A teacher became concerned about her behaviour, and called police.
The mum was arrested and blew 0.252 when breath-tested.
After having her licence suspended, she’s due to appear in Raymond Terrace Local Court on April 1.
