GRAFTON’S TRADE CENTRE ALREADY REAPING THE REWARDS

Grafton High staff, say they’re already seeing good results from the school’s new Hospitality Trade Skills Centre.
It’s been up and running for 9 months but was officially opened by member for Page, Kevin Hogan today.
“There’s extra facilities, they’re state of the art equipment, so they now will be able to be trained and walk into any kitchen environment… Really in Australia.”
“Out the back of that facility there’s going to be an alfresco dining area… That’s what’s under construction at the moment and it’ll allow the students there, to run cafes and run it reallt like a business would run.”
The new addition to northern New South Wales’s oldest high school is one of six trade centres in the state.
