ST JOSEPHS PRIMARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES 100 YEARS
Students and teachers at St Joseph’s Primary School took a step back in time today, dressing up in costume to celebrate 100 years of Catholic education.
A time capsule containing prayers and letters from 25 years ago was opened, as a way of teaching kids the importance of preserving history.
“It’s really important that the children know about what’s happened before them and to be really grateful for all the hard work… Particularly of the sisters of St Joseph and everything they did, because without them and their dedication to our school, we wouldn’t exist.”
The celebrations were followed by a balloon release…
And even Cracker, the school’s beloved therapy dog, stopped by to enjoy the festivities.
