WATCHDOG RECOMMENDS COAST WATER BILL CUTS

Central Coast homeowners could soon save hundreds of dollars on their water bills.
Pricing watchdog, IPART, has recommended a price drop of around $330 a year for the Gosford area starting from July.
Wyong households would be spared an average of $150 a year under the draft plan.
It’s expected the policy would cut council revenue from water charges by $15 million over three years.
Consultation on the plan closes April 24.
