Two men have been forced from their vehicle, during a terrifying early morning carjacking in the Hunter Valley.
Police have been told the pair were sitting in a Ford Territory on Ironbark Lane at Cessnock at around 4:30 this morning, when they were approached by two men.
The pair threatened the 30-year-old and 24-year-old with an axe, bat, and a knife, before forcing them from and stealing the car.
The older man was taken to Cessnock Hospital suffering minor injuries.
