Police in Tamworth have launched an appeal for information, after a man suffered a serious head injury in an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It’s understood the man was leaning against the tray of a white dual cab ute on Brisbane Street shortly after midnight, when the vehicle drove off causing him to fall to the ground.
He was taken to Tamworth Base Hospital, before being flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with a fractured skull.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have information is asked to contact local police.
