HUNTER SAILORS PREPARE FOR ROUND TWO OF SAIL GP

Hunter sailors have begun preparations, for the second event on the SailGP world series in San Francisco.

The Australian team, featuring Lake Macquarie’s Kyle Langford, thought they’d become the first outfit to crack 50 knots or around 92 kilometres an hour, during practice.

On further assessment, they fell just short.

Our other locals, Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen, compete for Team Japan.

They’re completing a thorough preparation, after seeing an incident involving Team China.
