The state’s Mental Health Commissioner agrees that Tamworth’s Banksia Unit desperately needs an upgrade.
Commissioner Catherine (LOW-RY) Lourey visited Tamworth this week, and met with residents.
She says the centre is outdated, and that the state government should be spending more money on mental health facilities.
