The Newcastle Hang Gliding Club says its future is literally up in the air.
The city council is planning to plant trees at the place where flyers land, as part of its $15-million coastal revitalisation project.
It comes as council unveils one its biggest projects in four years – the revamped Number Two Sportsground.
