KURRI KURRI HIGH TRIBUTE TO ANZAC UNVEILED

Hunter school students have brought history to life, creating an inspiring project in the coalfields to honour our ANZAC heroes.
Year nine pupils at Kurri Kurri High have built an impressive memorial at their school, featuring an interactive mural, a garden and seating for outdoor learning.
It’s taken six months of work, from researching and writing a story of war, to designing, painting and gardening.
Students say they found the project an engaging way to learn about an important chapter in our history.
