A man has been airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital with serious leg injuries, after coming off his motorcycle at around 100 kilometres an hour at Stokers’ Siding, south of Murwillumbah.
“He’s gone down a six metre embankment through a barbed wire fence and ended up in a creek.”
The man was assisted by passing riders until paramedics arrived.
He was transferred by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with two lacerations to his leg.
