MAN STABLE AFTER FALLING DOWN EMBANKMENT ON REMOTE PROPERTY

A man who fell 10 metres down an embankment in the state’s north is recovering in hospital.
A doctor and paramedic were winched into the remote location at Tomewin, around 10 kilometres north of Murwillumbah, early on Friday morning.
The man suffered leg, pelvic and back injuries in the fall, and was taken to Murwillumbah Airport by members of the the VRA.
He was then flown to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
