The latest polar blast has moved through.
Winds have been extremely strong for the Hunter and elevated areas of the northern ranges. Those winds are now easing and will drop off quite quickly.
High level cloud has been constantly streaming in across north east NSW and south east QLD. The high level cloud will linger across that part of the broadcast area for another day.
A large swell will also move in along the coast. This, combined with the south westerly winds, will make for some nice surfing conditions.
