MOTHER CAUGHT ALMOST SIX TIMES OVER THE LIMIT
A mother’s been caught almost six times over the legal blood alcohol limit on her way to pick up her daughter from school this afternoon.
The 40-year-old was behind the wheel of a blue Mazda 2 when she allegedly failed to stop, colliding with the rear of a parked car near Wallsend Public School.
Police say she was so heavily intoxicated that she couldn’t stand, and she told them she had drunk four cans of Rivet Beer.
She allegedly blew 0.296 on a breath test.
The woman’s had her licence suspended and will face court.
