Wet weather again threatened to derail the Newcastle Jets’ buildup to Friday’s A-League opener against Adelaide.
The side was today allowed to train on only part of Ray Watt Oval.
It was just the Jets’ second field session this week.
Sean Rooney was back on the park after missing Sunday’s training run, but appears in doubt for the game because of a quad strain.
Coach, Branco Culina, is also unlikely to risk Tarek Elrich, who is coming back from off-season groin surgery.
