GOSFORD HOUSE RUINED BY FLAMES

An early morning fire has destroyed an abandoned house in Gosford.

Emergency services were called to Hills Street just after 1 o’clock on Thursday, to find the structure well alight.

Firefighters contained the blaze but neighbouring properties were damaged, with the heat cracking windows.

It’s understood squatters had frequented the building, on a lot which has been earmarked for development.
